During the summer holidays, the hiking trips are particularly popular, while the biggest attraction in the winter is skiing the Alps. And we have exciting opportunities for you, regardless of whether you want to train a sport you already know or if you want to try something new.

The team behind Alpenhaus Kesselfall has arranged active hiking holidays and all kinds of mountain activities in Austria since 2004, and we offer up to 18 activities each week with our Danish guides. This experience and quality is something few of our competitors can boast. We also arrange trips for individuals, and we are very flexible if a group wants to customise their activities or combine several trips.

Drive there yourself – and avoid having to make dinner and wash up.

Alpenhaus Kesselfall is just under Austria’s largest glacier, Kaprun, right in the middle of the country. Therefore, you will have a nice drive on the last leg of the journey if you visit us by car.

When you are looking for an activity holiday, a hotel is usually preferable to a holiday flat, where you have to do the cooking. If you stay with us, you can give it your all in the mountains. We will have dinner ready when you get home. You are of course welcome to try some of the other good restaurants in town.

If you want to enjoy beautiful, unfamiliar nature, while feeling your adrenaline pump through your body and pushing your limits, adventure travel is what you are looking for. Either through challenging sports you already know or by trying your hand at something new and exciting.

At Alpenhaus Kesselfall, in central Austria, we arrange up to 18 different adventure activities every week – with many different degrees of difficulty.

In the summer half year, we go all out with activities on land and water, while the winter is naturally all about skiing.

At Alpenhaus Kesselfall, you can either go exploring the mountains and the numerous opportunities for adventure or you can participate in our planned adventures. We have arranged hiking holidays and mountain activities since 2004. Therefore, we know where you will be challenged the most, and we can push the adventure to the very limit, while still maintaining the appropriate level of safety. If a group would like a customised trip, we can usually sort that out.

All our guides speak several languages and are very experienced with different adventures. Therefore, we often find that even our most experienced guests are surprised by how much they have in them as they raft through the rapids or hurtle their mountain bike down the mountain.

Our target group is young people. Either families with teenagers or older children or group trips for schools that want to offer their kids the experience of a lifetime. You are welcome if this is your first time and you want to have a go at the thrilling outdoor life, or if you have already been hooked – as we have – and are looking for even more challenges.
